An oriental flying gurnard (Dactylopterus orientalis) filmed off the coast of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. When excited the fish spreads its “wings” which are semi-transparent but tipped with a beautiful and phosphorescent bright blue coloration (designed to scare away predators).
