Held Captive by Wind


There is a silence to the wind as a motionless dhow with a dusty sail is consumed in the misty blue of the Indian Ocean. Dark clouds roll over and this spec upon the swaying sea, held captive by a windless instant, yearns to get away, to run freely on the waves, to land on shining beaches bearing a feast of the solemn sea.
