Enjoy photos of a spotted jellyfish (Mastigias papua), photgraphed off the coast of Mafia Island. Also known as the lagoon jelly, golden medusa or Papuan jellyfish, it is a species of jellyfish from the Indo-Pacific. Instead of one single mouth, they have several smaller mouth openings in their oral arms, which are used to feed on zooplankton. Feel free to share or download for your desktop wallpaper, just click to enlarge then right click to save.
