sharm freediving At the Drop off

Marlon Quinn, owner and instructor from Australia’s Watermaarq Freediving, breathes-up in preparation for some easy-going dives alongside the 15 meter coral drop-off in Sharm El Sheikh, making the most of his time before the start of the AA International Instructor Course. Sharm, at the tip of the Sinai peninsula in Egypt, offers world class diving in the Red Sea. At the drop off located only 50 meters from the shore, a five minute swim from the beach, spans most of the peninsula, including Dahab, forming the famous Blue Hole on east Sinai. Sharm and the surrounding areas are known for its abundant marine life ranging from manta rays, giant nepolean wrasses, sea turtles, sharks, massive coral bommies and more.
