Leafy Seadragon

Leafy Seadragon

A leafy seadragon (Phycodurus eques), also known as glauert’s seadragon is a marine fish in the seahorse family. Found along the southern and western coasts of Australia, the name is derived from the appearance. The long leaf-like protrusions all over the body serve as camouflage so that the creature appears like floating seaweed.
