Pinktail Chalceus

Pinktail chalceus fish (Chalceus macrolepidotus), native to the Orinoco and Amazon basins in South America, as well as the highly oxygenated rivers in the Guianas. Pinktail chalceus are  aggressive predatory fish, feeding on insects by leaping from the water, as well as small fish and the like.
